| The Grand Marais Donut Shop was established in 1969 and the name was changed in 1978 when we moved to our current location after hearing for the past 9 years that we had the “best donuts in the world”.
|
Our cute little red building, with its scalloped border is a favorite place for our regulars to enjoy a fresh pastry and cup of coffee. We encourage you to join our Mug Club. Just bring a mug from home and leave it on our shelf and enjoy a beverage for only 50 cents! While enjoying your beverage at World’s Best Donuts, take a look around our coffee room, at all the pictures on the walls and tables where people have traveled the world taking with them their World’s Best Donuts coffee cup. Also, before you leave, make sure you sign the wall and become a “registered donut eater”. If you sign the wall, and remember your number when you come back next year, you win a free donut. Last year we had nearly 400 winners.
